"While The Year of Mindfulness program is in its infancy it terms of time, Katie has the group off to a fast start. The guiding principles have been established, she has mixed the science & history of the brain & mindfulness into the cirriculm along with mediation practices. She has a natural ability to engage the class participants and is open to suggestions about how the material is presented. There is accountablility and support with a buddy system she has in place In addition, Katie has assigned each student pair with presenting a 10 minute talk to the group about any aspect of mindfulness that we find interesting and want to share with the class. Her approach makes us totally engaged and is not a program where you are just lectured to once or twice a month when we meet. I'm excited about the program as it has already made a difference in my life and I appreciate Katie's dedication & willingness to help each participant."
